• Outdoor Activities

  • A large portion of our homeowners purchase in Woodland Village for the close proximity to outdoor activities and the rural setting.  Fortunately Cold Springs is adjacent to large tracts of BLM public land available for your enjoyment.  On a typical day you will see folks enjoying their ATV's, hiking, off-road cycling, road and mountain biking, and walking dogs.  Often you will see hang gliders off the Petersen Range & land sailors on White Lake.

The nearby Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and Peavine Mountain offer abundant trails for hiking and single track for mountain biking. The historic arborglyphs in Peavine aspen groves are worth a visit. A drive to Crystal Peak often yields rough quartz crystals.
