Woodland Village
Summary
Woodland Village is a true Master Planned Community designed by Bob Lissner in 2000. Bob’s original vision was to build an affordable community for working families that incorporates lots fantastic amenities and is a comfortable commute to Reno area employers.
A little over twenty years later, Bob’s vision has been realized. Woodland Village, located about 17 highway miles to downtown Reno, currently includes 2,200 single family detached homes, 110 attached townhomes (under construction), 3 Washoe County parks, 2 schools, a non-profit family and fitness center with childcare, a small neighborhood commercial center, including a family-friendly restaurant, over 10 miles of landscaped walking trails and several direct access points to the surrounding BLM lands as well as a multitude of other outdoor recreational locations and activities.
Woodland Village is overseen and managed by Woodland Village HOA (homeowner’s association) which continues to help provide a beautiful and safe tree-lined community nestled into the Cold Springs Valley, which is surrounded by stunning mountain views.
